Behind the Scences Disco in a Location Vehicle

Here is the ever famous Miss Tinah aka Liana. She is modeling the look of the season which was Fall '06. We were on a shoot in Chelsea for the Wall Street Journal fashion section. Yes, they used to cover a lot about fashion and do a few shoots a year. I did them for the past 6 years or so. We really had fun that day dressing up in the accessories especially the Gucci fur bag. Sukie was with us that day too. She probally gets the coolest intern award ever!

Ok....I wish someone would have told me to lay of the peroxide. Here's a behind the scenes look from a photo shoot and I got caught in the "Style Spotlight". This is an area I don't like getting caught in especially being snapped at the most unflattering of angles. Funny, because I'm a stylist behind the scenes and when I'm on a shoot, I like to stay behind the scenes. When it's t.v., that is a different story. It's all about me! For real though, I do miss the ultra blond hair but thinking of going back to my darkest brown almost black natural colour or even red.

The Cheese Stands Alone

Liana making love to the cheese someone bought for her birthday. Liana once stayed in my apartment as I was taking care of my friend Jamie down in Costa Rica after a bad surf accident. She left really funny post-it notes all over including in the fridge and noted, on butter, no less, "the cheese stands alone." Not sure what is was all about but I do love Liana in her celebratory chemise or her fun birthday frock from Reiss.

Too Cold to Blog....

Yes, it's true, i've been M.I.A. this past month and listening to M.I.A. as well! Really, the cold weather has been a bit to paralyzing for me. I've been reading a lot of books including this one by E.Lynn Harris that I styled the cover for! One thing is for sure, the models abs were hot!
