Poly VORTEX??

Have you ever heard of Polyvore? Well if you haven't, its a website where you can create your own collage, without the mess and stress of paper cuts and gluestick's. This website is lots of fun, but also very confusing! It took me a good 20 minutes to find a sneaky way to put my "Glam Rock" collage (above) up on here. I had to email it to myself and then save it from there, because they do not allow you to save your collage on your desktop, only on there site for other polvore users to see. I like the site but it could use a few improvements, it seems like a completely different vortex to me.

The Perfect Dress

I'm always on the hunt for a delicate dress. No longer must one be on the prowl, saunter over to GirlCat and try on all the Anya Ponorovskaya dresses. Mingle with Aundrey, Julia, Annette and Ewa. There are three locals and soon to be a fourth GirlCat in Miami.
To make is even easier for you:

The Wine Thief
"Can your Dior's fit through the door?" Steve cleverly inquires as I visit him at his family's namesake celler, Shaw Vineyard last summer. Steve and I are from the same part of the world, The Finger Lakes and knew of each other growing up, however, we literally ran into each other at a small business banking event here in NYC more than a few years ago. I'll be sipping some of his wines this summer on my roof terrace. Stop by.

Funky Bunky

There's nothing I love more than a funky bun! When I lived in Italy, circa 1996, there was a much played song on the radio that kinda when like this: "Get Funky Bunky con noi" Ever since, I've called a bun like hairstyle a funky bun. Remember Princess Laya and her two danish like buns on the side of her hair? I once new a girl who actually used two danish, the kind you eat, to recreate the hairstyle for a Halloween costume. Brilliant, I say!
Enjoy the images from photographer, Aimee Herring, stylist, Moi and hairstylist, Reiko Love. Reiko truly makes sculpture out of hair!

For All You West Coast Hottie's

Ludwig is an awesome new Cali based store that's been strumming at my heart strings! Inspired by the late great Ludwig van Beethoven who created beautiful music through his life dedication to music and art. Ludwig hopes to achieve the same greatness as their protege, and is having a good start. Ludwig is launching a POP Up store on Thursday June 4th selling their casual street-wear. Here is the info, be sure to check it out if your in the LA area on Thursday!

Bespoke Spring

Spring is almost over as the official start to summer is June 21st. Try one of the seasons long flowey dresses like this one from Mango. S'adore this dress because you can wear it off the shoulder as shown, so flamenco, or pull it up and open the tie and let it loose. It's so boho chic. You can dress it up with heels or wear a gorgi leather flip flop. Packs well too! What more does one ask for in a dress? Just shot this last Friday with photographer Aimee Herring so it's hot off the press. Also, one of my favourite desingers, Adam Lippes is doing a line for Mango.
Palm Beach Goth

If you know me you know I love hot, hot steaming hot, fuchsia pink. Currently, S'adore hot pink lipstick. This one in particular by YSL. I love to wear it with my very vampy YSL shoes in black patent and do a smokey dark eye! The look in simply stated- Palm Beach Goth. It's still bright like Palm Beech and a bit pretty but then darkened. Think of taking a preppy staple and adding a bit of edge!
