Pretty Picnic

Did you know that great summer fun can happen in your own back yard?  Well it can!  On any hot day, have a picnic. This vintage book, "It's A Picnic,"  given to me by Eileen gives great ideas on making the best  of outdoor dining.  Make lemonade and some sandwiches, while enjoying the peace of the open sky. We had a Father's Day Picnic in Buck's County, Penn., complete with Champagne, spicy shrimp and other bits and bobs spilling out of the back of the Tahoe, tale gate style. Daphne, my sis, is doing a reading from the book and H, her hunk of a husband is sporting some mad madras shorts!
