An elegant townhouse set behind a pawn shop, really? Yes! The newest hot spot on the LES is Beauty & Essex. I went this past weekend and felt as though I had stepped into the Golden Age. The atmosphere is that of an Old Hollywood party with no detail unturned and cocktails to match. I myself had a "Dark Chocolate Velvet" which is Guinness and Prosecco. You can have dinner, a few cocktails, a dance party and buy vintage jewelry all in the same night. There are great bars and clubs all over Manhattan but Beauty & Essex is more than that it is an experience. Get dressed to the nines and have a true blue Old Hollywood night on the town!
