Super Sweet 16

On Friday evening, I was invited as a +1 to attend Damaris’s super sweet 16 blow out bash. Sarah serves as her mentor and inspirational leader, and has had a major impact on her life. So it was such a treat for us to join together in celebrating her coming of age. The party was at Villa Roma in Brooklyn, NY, and began around 7:30pm, lasting until just before midnight. Damaris was decked out in an exquisite ball gown, very reminiscent of Cinderella when she looses her shoe; blue and white in color, adorned with pearl trimmings and sequins. Following suit, her theme was blue and white masquerade, so all things at the party closely related back to her theme. From the cake, to her party favors, to the masks set out on every table, to the decorations in the room; everything was masquerade and everything was fabulous. A DJ played the most current music, and family members and friends alike joined on the dance floor to party the night away. With a beautiful candle lighting ceremony honoring those close to her, Damaris took the spotlight and let an incredible celebration in her honor. The party was surely a night to remember, and I can’t wait to continue the celebration with Damaris when Sarah and I take her out for “her after-party” at Budikhan in the Meatpacking District for round two.
