Dishes are Done

Is it just me or does everyone use this ubiquitous word... DONE? I don't care for it. It seems to be used by people in the financial community, i.e. iBanker types to sound cool. Throw it back to a fave film, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, staring my beloved, Christina Applegate, the brother skeet shoots the dishes out the window and proclaims, "The dishes are done, man!"

"Dishes are Done!" is a more powerful way to say, "DONE, " or even worse, "DONE and DONE." It's so skater chic and silly! Gotta go tend to the designer dishes so they can be DONE, man.
